Salted Nutella Cookies To Whip Up In 30 Minutes

Cookie7Last Friday afternoon after I had my lunch I really fancied something sweet but we had absolutely nothing in the house so I decided to quickly whip up a batch of cookies, they were ready to eat within the hour. I choose to make these Salted Nutella Cookies because I had all the ingredients in the cupboard which is a bonus. Wrapped up in a pretty box I think these cookies would make an excellent gift for any cookie lover or just to have in the cupboard in case a friend popped by for a coffee and catch up.ย Cookie6What you will need:

200g unsalted butter, softened

300g caster sugar

1 large egg

325g self-rasing flour

1 teaspoon flaked sea salt

200g Nutellaย Cookie3Cookie2Firstly, preheat your oven to 180 degrees and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.

Mix together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg then gradually add the flour and salt, the dough should now be formed. Add the Nutella and gently marble through the chocolate with a knife.

Separate the mixture into 12 parts and roll into balls. Evenly space out the balls and press down gently on them. Make sure each cookie is not too close to each other as when they bake they will spread.

Bake in the oven for 12 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool and sprinkle with sea salt. If you can manage allow to cool for 20 minutes before eating and enjoy!Cookie1If you try these out I’d love to see them in the comments.

Have a lovely Monday.

Love,
