Fake Bake Spray Tan Review

tan4tan3Tanning Thursday can be such a chore at times so when I was invited along to try a Fake Bake spray tan (my first spray tan ever!) I couldn’t wait!

I went round to Fionas flat, you can go see her or she can come to yours which is great if you’d prefer to have your tan done in the comfort of your own home. Next time I get a spray tan I think I would do this. Everything was set up ready for the spray tan when I arrived. I got to choose between three different tans which Fiona explained to me. There was the original self-tan formula, darker self-tan formula and luxurious golden bronze which is ready to be washed off after just 1 hour! This is a great option if you want your tan in a rush. The other two self-tan formulas are best to leave over night for a perfect looking tan.

I got changed in the bathroom where Fiona had a lovely candle burning which really made me feel at ease. I stepped into the tanning tent and Fiona talked me through which positions to stand in to get the perfect, streak free tan with no white patches, this is super important when tanning! Moisturiser was then applied to my knees and elbows. I chose the original formula as I am fair and didn’t want to look overly bronzed. The original tan was the perfect choice for me as it left my skin with a sun-kissed glow instantly. Overnight the tan developed to a much darker colour but once I had showered the corrector colour washed off to reveal a beautiful bronzed glow, it looked like I had just come back from a tropical holiday! I was recommended to moisturise daily and advised that my tan would last about a week which it did, it didn’t fade patchy either! I was at Fionas flat for about half an hour as she explained everything to me but once you know all the way to stand Fiona said she can be all set up and your tan done in about ten minutes, talk about speedy!

Fiona was so lovely and welcoming! She made me feel really comfortable and at ease getting a spray tan and would highly recommend her. You can get in contact with her through Facebook or Instagram  if you’d like to book in for your own Fake Bake spray tan. A spray tan from Fiona it’s £20 which is such an affordable price! It takes out the hassle of having to fake tan yourself, no dodgy orange hands or patchy white back – we’ve all been there! Also it would make the perfect mothers day gift for anyone struggling to think of present for your mum. Everyone loves a good pamper session!
