Blogmas Day Five 😀 I love a classic red lip during the festive season but I have to say my favourite is a berry, just bitten look so I’ve decided to do a round-up of my all time favourite berry lip products from budget to luxury. So if you’re looking to try a berry lip for the first time and are looking for something cheap and cheerful to try or want to TREAT YO’ SELF there is definitely something for everyone!
First up is a new product from the Christmas collection at Lush. This is a lip tint in Sugar Plum Fairy, I loooove the name, so cute and festive! This lip product is very wearable, it can be dabbed on for a slight berry tone on built up to give a bold look. At just £5.95 I definitely think this is affordable for most budgets and great if you want to try out the berry lip trend that is always about at this time of year. I think this would also make a great stocking filler, I know I would be happy to find anything from Lush in my stocking.
My midway choice is a Bare Minerals lip oil balm in Berry Pop. This lip colour comes in at £17, maybe a bit expensive for a mid range lipstick but if you’re passing through duty free or know anyone who is you can get this lipstick for £13. I really love this lipstick, it’s so smooth and moisturising and doesn’t bleed which I love. I also really like the shape of the bullet as it allows for precise application without a lip brush which is awesome if you are on the go and needing to reapply.
Last but not least and my favourite lip product of all is YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in Number 19 – Fuchsia in Rage. I love all YSL products and this lipstick is no exception! It is extremely moisturising and the colour pay off is amazing! Also no need for a lip liner as this lipstick doesn’t bleed at all which is great if you are in a hurry or can’t be bothered with the faff of lip liner (that’s me!). Also the packaging is just divine, so glamorous and look fantastic sitting on your dressing table in all it’s gold, shiny, glory.
