Lush Christmas Collection 2016

474473454452453469lush2It’s 83 sleeps until Christmas and Lush have released their Christmas collection, the count down is most definitely on!

The Christmas collection was released on Saturday 1st October. I headed into my local Lush store on Sunday afternoon thinking all the die-hard Lushies would have gone in on Saturday, how wrong I was! It was absolutely packed! But that didn’t stop me spending a good hour sniffing and smelling all the soaps, bath bombs, lotions and potions. I love the smell of the Lush shop, a mix of all the delicious sents which I can smell from across the road before I even get in there, that smell drags me into Lush every time I am in town.

As always there is the usual Snow Fairy which everyone loves and a few others that have made a come back from previous years such as Luxury Lush Pud, Baked Alaska Soap and The Christmas Penguin. One girl in Lush said that a lot of the items out this year are from previous releases although there are a few I don’t remember at all – Ruby Red Slippers was first released Christmas 2005!

I love all the bath bombs and bubble bars, they look gorgeous and the different smells are just divine but (I know a lot of you won’t understand this) I’m not a bath person, I’d much rather have a shower, I know I know, crazy!

463462457465466While I was in store on Sunday two of the lovely girls in Lush were making a bath cocktail which I have to say is an amazing name and kinda makes me wish I liked baths more! In the cocktail there was so many different products put in, it was a mass of colour and smelt like a citrusy, Christmasy, glittery, wintery wonderland to soak in, I wish you could smell the pictures! I love how all the colours blend together and make your bath look like a rainbow galaxy.

458459460My wish list from the Christmas collection is always as long as my arm probably a) because I love Lush and what the stand for and b) I FREAKING LOVE CHRISTMAS 😀

Okay, I’m calm, sort of, okay here goes!

On my wish list:

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner

Sleepy Body Lotion

Bubbly Shower Gel

Snowcastle Soap

Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub

Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint

Mr Sandman Dusting Powder

Salt And Peppermint Bark Body Scrub

Christingle Body Condition

From my trip to Lush I only picked up two things from the Christmas collection – Sleepy Body Lotion which smells just like a Christmas dream. It has lavender and ylang ylang oils infused which help you drift off to sleep. I can’t wait to use this after a showering in the evening and putting on some cozy Christmas pajamas sitting in front of the fire. The other product I picked up was Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint, how perfect is the name? It has a scent of orange and wild berries, it is literally Christmas in a tube! Applying this lip tint isn’t as purple as it looks, more a berry shade, which I love! I also picked up a sample of Snow Fairy Body Conditioner to try it out but I’m pretty certain I’ll be buying a full size pot after payday!

What are you hoping to pick up from the Lush Christmas release?

Love, Sophie x

P.s I listed to the Michael Bublé Christmas album last night and started wrapping presents so Christmas has officially started for me! #sorrynotsorry

  1. I went in last Saturday & ended up buying half the store 😄 Was disappointed that they had sold out their Halloween stock but picked up a Goth Fairy. Bought a few Christmas bath bombs/bubble bars and my favourite Snow Fairy too. Hope Santa brings you everything on your Lush wish list 😊 xx
