23 Things I Love About Autumn

StarbucksIt’s the 1st of September which means one thing – autumn is here! I know autumn doesn’t officially start until the 22nd but the 1st of September marks the begin of autumn for me. I can’t believe how quick summer whizzed by! This year definitely was one of the quickest and I didn’t even get through everything I wanted to do on my Summer Bucket List, never mind, next year! I have to say even though I am sad to say goodbye to summer I am looking forward to what autumn has to bring. These are just a few of the things I love about this time of year.

Seeing the leaves turn to beautiful shades of gold, red and orange.

New pyjamas because autumn is all about lazy afternoons.

Three words. Pumpkin. Spiced. Latte.

Red nail polish.

Lots of layers, scarfs, jumpers, over the knee socks and boots.

An extra hour in bed when the clocks go back.

A crackling fire at the end of the day.

It’s acceptable to start burning festive candles because they are the best!

Crunching through the leaves.

November 5th means lots of sparkly fireworks.

And sparklers!

Cinnamon everything.

Searching for a new  winter coat.

Collecting conquers.

Getting creative with a pumpkin for Halloween.

Leggings and jumpers, I know it hardly fashion blogger friendly but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love wearing them on a cold day.

Wearing wellies and splashing through puddles.

Burgundy all the things.

Cold walks in the forest.

Warm tasty comfort food.

Hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Making a Halloween costume, that’s the best part!

Christmas is just round the corner! 😀

What’s your favorite thing about Autumn?

Speak soon internet babes.
