YSL Lipstick – Fuchsia In Excess

Hello there little chickpeas,

Hope you are all having a fantastic Thursday! I’m feeling pretty good that it’s one day closer to the weekend – it’s almost Friday, yaaay! And I am going away for the weekend to a Scottish fishing village which I am really excited about, think about all the photo opportunities!

Since I was a child I have always loved pink! I am and always will be a Barbie girl in a Barbie world. When I saw this lipstick at the YSL counter it transported me back to my Barbie castle I had when I was five, so I kinda needed to get it.

I love the creamy texture, it doesn’t leave a horrible dry feeling on your lips which I just hate! Who wants the Sahara desert on their lips? Nobody that’s who! And it’s really long lasting which is a bonus. It doesn’t last all day but when it does wear off it leaves a slight pink stain which is good so you’ll be fine until you go and top up your lippy in the bathroom at lunch time.

One thing I have noticed though is over the course of the day it does bleed a little bit so just wap on a lip liner with this bad boy and you’ll be good to go!

This is my second Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick and it certainly won’t be my last! I love everything about YSL make up and the packing is so dreamy and luxurious. The only thing I am not too keen on is the price at £26 a pop they are rather pricey! But if you are cheeky (or thrifty whichever way you want to look at it) like me, you can save up your Boots points to pick up one of these delightful little gold packages.

Have you tried any of the Rouge Volupte Shine range, do you think they are worth the money?

Speak soon gal pals,

Sophie x
